Membership

• OFFBRAND is for people who work in-house at, founded, or work fractionally with DTC and CPG brands. Agencies, consultants, and companies selling to brands can't join as members.
• We review every application by hand and can approve or decline any application.
• You're responsible for keeping your account secure and your profile accurate. Real names and real brands only.

Community rules

• No pitching or selling to members, in posts, comments, or DMs.
• Disclose it when you recommend something you're paid by, invest in, or advise.
• What's shared in the community stays in the community. Don't screenshot or repost members' posts or numbers without permission.
• Don't share your employer's confidential information.
• Be direct and respectful. Harassment isn't tolerated.

We can remove content or end a membership for breaking these rules.

Your content

You own what you post. You give OFFBRAND permission to display it inside the community so other members can see it. We won't publish your posts outside the community without your permission. Anonymous, aggregated poll results may be shared publicly.

Paid memberships

Some features may require a paid membership in the future. Prices, billing, and cancellation terms will be shown clearly before you're ever charged, and founding members will hear their terms well in advance.

Partners and sponsored content

Some listings and perks are paid for by vendors and are always labeled as sponsored. OFFBRAND doesn't guarantee any vendor's product or service; do your own diligence before buying. See How OFFBRAND makes money.

Advice in the community

Members share their own experience and opinions. It isn't professional legal, financial, or tax advice.

Limits

OFFBRAND is provided as is. We work hard to keep it running and useful, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and we aren't liable for decisions you make based on community content.

Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are meaningful, we'll update the date and let members know.
