EVERYTHING ABOUT THE CLUB, IN ONE PLACE

Frequently asked questions.

How memberships work, who the room is for, and what happens inside — answered straight.

Membership

Who is the founding membership for?

OFFBRAND is exclusively for DTC brand operators and CPG professionals. We keep the community brand-focused so you can have candid conversations and build meaningful connections.

Is there a cost to apply?

Founding memberships are currently available for free. Apply to join, and we'll share the details of your membership. The Observer plan is free forever.

What is the difference from Observer?

Observers get the newsletter, forum access, and perks. Founding members also get the Matchups program, badges, chats, and dedicated members-only forum spaces.

How long does review take?

We read every application by hand and aim to reply within a few days.

What happens when the 50 spots fill?

The founding cohort closes. You can still join as an Observer and hear when new spots open.

Can I move from Observer to Founding?

Yes. Apply any time while founding spots are available.

Community & privacy

How do Peer Matchups work?

Matchups connects DTC brands based on shared interests, challenges, or goals. It's designed to foster authentic brand-to-brand relationships and collaboration.

Is what I share in the room kept private?

Yes. OFFBRAND runs on the Chatham House Rule: what's said in the room stays in the room. Read our privacy policy.

Do vendors pay OFFBRAND?

Some do — for clearly labeled listings, perks, and referral shares, never for access to members or the conversation. See exactly how OFFBRAND makes money.

Are vendors, agencies or consultants allowed?

No. The room is brand-side only. Applications from agencies, consultants, freelancers, and software or service sales reps are declined.

Do I have to use my real name and brand?

Yes. Real names and real brands only — no anonymous lurkers. It's what keeps the conversations candid.

Is pitching allowed?

Never. Unsolicited pitches, sales decks, and link drops are grounds for immediate removal.
